I know that working in an office all day can be tiresome. You stare at a computer monitor all day long, and long to be out in the middle of nature. Perhaps do a bit of trekking in the middle of a beautiful forest. You will be able to do that, during the weekend. Until then you just have to wait it out.

By choosing the right piece of software you can bring a bit of nature with you in the office – a piece of software like the 3PlaneSoft-developed Nature 3D Screensaver. This screensaver displays various scenes from a forest environment, with a focus on water – lake, stream, and so on.

From the Settings window you can select between three levels of water quality: low, medium and high. From the same window you can play with the camera options (choose between animated cameras, stationary cameras, or both; adjust the camera delay) and you can play with the sounds and music Nature 3D Screensaver plays in the background (adjust the volume, disable the sounds, disable the music). If you want to disable the sounds that Nature 3D Screensaver plays, you can do so while the screensaver is running by pressing the M key.

Installation – at the time of writing this, support is provided for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions). During the installation process you can choose between these languages: English, German, French and Russian.

During the installation process you are asked to install the 3Planesoft Screensaver Manager. This manager provides information about your currently installed 3PlaneSoft screensaver and about other screensaver 3PlaneSoft has to offer. The manager allows you to access the settings of all the 3PlaneSoft screensavers installed on your system. It also comes with a feature to automatically change the screensaver after a specific amount of time, or to display a different screensaver each time the computer goes idle. This manager is quite useful if you have more than one 3PlaneSoft screensaver.

Limitations – a nag screen will appear after 90 seconds when using the trial version. To get rid of this nag screen you have to purchase a license.
